Description
Harriet Manners is one of my all-time favourite protagonists, and I’ll always love picking up a book that she’s narrating. However, this book felt a little bit… pointless? It didn’t feel quite like a ‘filler’ story that these sorts of sequel often do, but there seemed to be a lack of plot nonetheless.
I understand it focused more on Harriet coming to terms with why she was in the fashion industry if she didn’t like it and what it meant to be grown-up, but behind all this there wasn’t a lot. The setting was, of course, fantastic.
The secondary characters were, again, simply incredible, but they were sorely missed for the most part and I wished (like the last time) Nick/Lion Boy was a more central characters to the story
