Description
On a cold New Year’s Eve, a poor girl takes shelter in the street, too scared to return home without selling any matches. She lights the matches for warmth, and with each one, sees a beautiful vision. With one of the matches, she sees a vision of her grandmother. To keep the vision alive, she lights all the remaining matches…and her grandmother carries her soul to heaven.
