Tiv traditional attires are worn for different occasions in Tivland. The design is quite unique, two primary colors (Black and White) these are the colors that identify the Tiv people anywhere they are. These colors are meaningful to Tiv people because of the following reasons: Tiv people are from African background and generally African descendants are black in nature. If you look around the tribes that made up Nigeria, you will discover that Tiv people are so peaceful, respectful, honest, hardworking and accommodating, this is what color white signifies. Above all, the Anger fabric black and white stripes, the style represents the Zebra, a harmless, peaceful animal you will ever come across.
